Overview

The mission of the Small Enterprise Development Agency (SEDA) is to develop, support and promote small enterprises to ensure their growth and sustainability in coordination and partnership with other role-players.

The Agency's mandate is to: implement government's national policy for small enterprise development; design and implement a standard national delivery network, which must uniformly apply throughout the country in respect of small enterprise development, integrating all government-funded small enterprise support agencies, across all spheres of government; design and implement small enterprise development support programmes; and establish provincial structures to ensure the effective implementation of its function.
